Client Account Access Credentials

As our Client Account HR/Payroll platform expands functionality, we recognize that Worksite Managers (WSM’s) will need various User Roles to take advantage of these enhancements!

AdvanStaff HR offers several pre-designed User Roles, which encompass the tools for needed for your company’s authorized users. Selecting the user level and granting that level of access to the user’s account as easy as 1…2…3! All roles include the ability to reset your employee’s password to their employee portal, via a reset link!

  1. Identify the individuals at your organization who will interact with AdvanStaff HR and consider the types of activities they will need to perform within your Client Account’s Manager Portal. i.e. Hiring, terminations, time management, payroll, changes to status/position/dept/div/loc, account reporting, etc.
  2. Build the level of access that you would like to grant them. Our representatives are happy to recommend appropriate User Roles, based on your needs for operational and business management as well as industry best practices.
    • Choose the Basic Foundation Role
    • Plus Optional add-ons for:
      • Human Resource related role(s)
      • Restrictions from specific departments, locations, divisions or client ID’s.
      • Mini-Stacks role(s) for Advanced Reporting and additional services or products
  3. Submit the Electronic Request Form for Account Authorization (required). An email confirmation email will be provided for each submission.

Full Access

  • Full access & visibility to all Company and Employee details, reports and eDocument Management Systems at the Admin level. Plus, Employee Portal Messaging Alerts!  
    • Note: this cannot be restricted
  • Allowed to edit records
  • Optional Add-ons
    • Payroll Approval of the final payroll billing invoices
    • I-9 Approval
    • PTO

Great For: Business Owners, Trusted Advisors, Executive Management

Full Access VIEW no editing

  • Full access & visibility to all Company and Employee details and reports in a VIEW ONLY setting
    • Note: this cannot be restricted
  • Unable to perform edit records or make new entries

Great For: Hiring or HR staff, Managers, Supervisors

  • Employee PTO Register (per employee inquiry, not full report)
  • Employee information reports – phone/address and emergency contact
  • Employee birthday and anniversary dates

Optional Add-ons

  • New Hire Entry
    • Manager will need to enter the initial pay rate. Once the entry is saved, the manager will not have visibility to edit or view the entry.

    • Note: the employee’s pay history will be visible when performing pay rate changes.

  • DMS-Owner / Officer
    • User will have access to all stored document folders, including Corporate folders
    • View|Upload|Download|Delete
  • DMS-Admin
    • USer will have access to most stored document folders. Excludes Corporate folders
    • View|Upload|Download|Delete
  • DMS-Limited
    • User will have access to select stored document folders
    • View|Upload|Download
  • DMS-Basic
    • User will have access to limited stored document folders
    • View|Download

PTO Management offer various levels of access. To learn more about each role, see the page regarding PTO Plan Design and Maintenance > Permissions & Roles tab, and review the access levels.

Select one (1) of these options per user:

  • MS-PTO View Only
  • **MS-PTO Approver
  • **MS-PTO (General)
  • **MS-Administrator -The PTO Administrator role is reserved for clients who fully administer the database configuration & maintenance s of their custom plan(s)
